The Citi Cash Returns MasterCard Is known to be a very good card with awesome cash-back rewards. The card works well and even better than a balance-transfer card. You may qualify for a 0% balance transfer rate for as long as 18 months if you have a good credit history but then  12 to seven months if you have weaker credit.

The balance transfer fee is 3%, one of the lowest around. You earn five “CitiDollars” on all balances transfers over $1,500. For every purchase made, you earn 2% cash back for the first six months, then 1% subsequently, 5% back on average when you shop through Citi’s Bonus Cash Center.

The Citi Cash Returns MasterCard allows you to earn the full reward on cash advances. The cash advance fee is 3%, and the APR is over 25%.

Recommendation

The Citi MasterCard card can be used for balance transfers or to earn rewards. It can not be used for both at the same time. Make transfers your balance for as long as you can then start earning cash-back rewards on purchases.
