How To Download WhatsApp / WhatsApp Messaging and Text

WhatsApp is available for download in the application store of your mobile device. After you’ve purchased and downloaded the app, launch it. You’ll be prompted by WhatsApp to receive notifications from the app each time you receive a text. This helps you respond swiftly.

Next, allow WhatsApp to sync your contacts. This will let you send messages to everyone you know directly through the WhatsApp interface. You can always block any contact on your list though.

After that, you’ll need to confirm your country and phone number, and WhatsApp will send you an SMS message with a confirmation code. Enter the confirmation code into WhatsApp, and you’re ready to start sending multimedia messages!

The WhatsApp Layout / WhatsApp Messaging and Text

WhatsApp does a great job of integrating its layout with your phone’s operating system.

Along the bottom, you’ll see the main menu items, including Favorites, Status, Contacts, Chats, and Settings.

The Favorites section will automatically show all of your contacts that also use WhatsApp. If your contacts don’t load right away, try closing and re-launching the application. At the bottom of your list of Favorites, there’s a function to invite friends to WhatsApp. You can do this via text message or email.

The WhatsApp interface is simple and easy to understand. The Status section lets you create a custom message to let your friends know whether you’re available to chat, and the chat section is where you’ll go to start a new conversation with one of your WhatsApp contacts. The Settings tab lets you manage your profile, as well as add a profile picture.

In the Settings section, there are two very useful features: System Status and Usage. System Status gives you access to the WhatsApp Twitter feed, so if you’re ever having a problem with the application you can go here first to troubleshoot. Usage lets you know how many kilobytes of data you’ve used, a way of monitoring your data usage. You can reset this counter manually based on your phone’s billing cycle to make sure you’re up to date.

How To Send A Video Message /

To send a new video message, go to the Chats tab. Then, choose the contact you’d like to start chatting with. This will open a new chatbox. Click on the arrow to the left of the text field. This will launch a menu that includes all of your chatting options, including “Take a Photo or Video” and “Choose Existing”. If you want to send a new video to your friend, choose “Take a Photo or Video”. WhatsApp will launch your phone’s camera, and you can take a video just like you normally would.

WhatsApp limits your recording time to 45 seconds. This keeps your data usage down while also making sure your video message can be sent within a reasonable amount of time. After you’re done recording, you can preview the video, and then choose to use it or retake it. When you choose “Use” WhatsApp will automatically begin sending your video.

To send a video you’ve already recorded, first, make sure that WhatsApp has access to your saved photos and videos. Then, choose “Choose Existing” in the chat menu. WhatsApp will compress your video by lowering the quality so that it can be sent. If your video is longer than 45 seconds, WhatsApp will ask you to choose which section of the video you want to send. Then, WhatsApp will start to send your video message. Whether you’re using Wifi or your data plan, be prepared to wait for a little bit – sending video requires a pretty big data transfer.

WhatsApp Messaging and Text is a great alternative to SMS messaging, and gives you various options of communication!
