Here’s how to check business with the Better Business Bureau;
Go to the Better Business Bureau’s homepage, to see a few options you need to find the business you are looking for.
(The Better Business Bureau, is organized by location. In case you do not know exactly what you are looking for, and you can search for your local BBB branch. This comes in very handy if you know the service you need, but do not have a specific company in mind.
If you are looking to find a local BBB accredited businesses, follow these steps;
Tap open a browser and go to the Better Business Bureau website.
Choose the FIND YOUR BBB button
Enter your city and state or zip code.
Choose the search button. You’ll get redirected to the appropriate page where you can use the search tool to search for categories or specific local businesses.
- To look for a particular business name, select the Name option above the search bar. Immediately you choose the business, you will see the rating and any reviews or cases linked to your search.
- If you are searching for a category option, you are to fill in the type of service you are seeking. From here, you can view the Better Business Bureau Profile in order to see a rating or request a quote.
In case you are attempting to source information on a specific business, you can search directly from the Better Business Bureau homepage.
Start by selecting FIND A BUSINESS button from the Better Business Bureau home page.
Key in the name of the business and the approximate city and state. (You can also key in the business’s website address.
Click on the search button.
Tap the business from the list of displayed options. Once you find your business and select it, you can read the BBB’s report.
