Chase Sapphire Preferred does not offer the same suite of travel benefits for consumers. Chase Sapphire Preferred is a good option with its $95 annual fee that is waived the first year.
Citi Prestige offers very good rewards and crucial travel benefits for cardholders. The card offers worldwide rental car coverage good for up to $100,000 if you rent a car with your Citi Prestige card without the additional coverage at the counter. This coverage is a secondary benefit in the United States, meaning that your personal auto insurance would kick in first for accidents stateside. Any accident outside the United States would be considered primary.
For signup bonuses, cardholders will receive medical coverage of up to $100,000 and trip cancellation coverage for up to $5,000 per person and per trip especially when a trip is canceled or delayed. Cardholders also get baggage delay coverage of up to $500 per covered traveler, per trip when baggage is delayed by more than three hours.
There is an annual fee of $450 with 4th-night free benefit and $250 air travel credit each year including airport lounge membership pass, Global Entry credit, and other perks.
